Abstract Submission

1)  Title of the Presentation

2) Name(s) and affiliation(s) of the presenter(s):

(First name followed by surname (e.g., Aaliyah Haughton)

3) A brief summary of 300-350 words providing the reader with the answers to the following questions:

  1. Why is it significant, important, of interest? (by telling readers what the paper is about and why they should read it?
  2. Is the language clear and well written in terms of language, grammar, etc.?
  3. Does the abstract title describe the subject matter of the presentation?    
  4. Does the abstract state how the research was/is being undertaken?
  5. Does the abstract indicate the value of the findings?
  6. Does the abstract describe the work to be discussed in the paper?
  7. Does the abstract give a concise summary of the findings?
  8. Does the abstract have keywords or phrases that closely reflect the content of the paper?

Manuscript Preparation & Submission

Since the papers presented at 3rd BELL Conference will be published in Karaelmas Educational Sciences Journal after a review process, the editorial secretary of the journal will inform authors about the publication process after the conference has been conducted. Authors are expected  to format their papers according to the journal template and submit them to the journal system once they are informed through an email.

The journals might make use of APA or MLA conventions in their manuscript templates; authors may wish to pay a visit to APA Formatting and Style Guide or  MLA Formatting and Style Guide  at The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University.
